Redundant Measure System with Fibre Elements for Robot Precision Rising
Original language description
The paper describe the measuring concept based on the measurements by redundant set of measuring telescopic rods or fibers. This concept has been investigated and optimized with respect to calibrability, sensitivity of measurement and the workspace maximization. The idea of the redundant measuring system is based on the continuous length measuring between bodies of the standard serial robot. Each rod connects the points on two adjacent bodies of the kinematic pair, so that the effect on the decreasing of the original workspace of the robot is minimized.
