*Optimization of Gas Exchange Process and Air Management of Future Internal Combustion Engines ? steady states and transients
Original language description
*The research dealt with evaluation of boosting systems of combustion engines that are applied on various engine layouts with respect to partial and overall efficiencies and other assessment criteria. In this year the research included behaviour of different boosting systems both in steady state and primarily transient modes. Moreover, pros and cons of different combination of boosting systems was evaluated, including their connection and coupling with the engine. This research is aimed to develop methodology which enables to find a proper boosting system and variable valve actuation for gas exchange process optimization.
