Original language description
In this thesis based on literary research is discussed the process of anodic oxidation of aluminium with focus on sealing the anodic oxide layer. Samples have been created and sealed with hot water, nickel acetate, stearic acid and nickel fluoride, respectively. These samples have been tested for wear resistance, chemical resistance and also the morphology of sealed and unsealed oxidic layer has been investigated under microscope.
