Original language description
Optimal control of vehicle as a continuous nonlinear dynamic system with state, control and final state constraints is a problem to be concerned with. A possibility of using Dynamic programming (DP) on a discretized model in both space and time domain is studied. Several approaches are compared, including Model predictive control (MPC) and its combination with DP at different discretization levels. As an example, a vehicle with a real efficiency map is introduced.
