Original language description
The vibration testing is subjected to a set of standards, that must be adhered to, for the test result to be conclusive. In this paper, two vibration controllers are experimentally compared, and their compliance is tested. One controller is an industry-standard product and the other is a custom-designed controller using the adaptive inverse control approach. Both controllers are able to satisfy the standard for simple loads, but the custom controller shows significantly better consistency and can deal with complicated, more flexible loads and their fixtures.
