Addition of Clutch to Gearbox Test Bench
Original language description
The gearbox test bench was expanded with a clutch, flywheel, and a mass simulating the engine's moment of inertia. The clutch is controlled electro-hydraulically by the control program and it is possible to precisely set the engagement level during gearshift. The goal is to optimize clutch control during gearshift of a dog clutch with external synchronization to minimize torque gap and keep driving comfort. The test bench measures vibrations, torque oscillations, and other parameters during the gearshift. The following input parameters can be set: mismatch speed at the gearshift clutch, RPMs, shifting force, and clutch engagement level.
