Pole Signifikance Evaluation for Time Delay Systems

Original language description

In the paper, the original method for evaluating the significance of the poles of Time Delay Systems (TDS) in their infinite spectrum is introduced. The method is based on the Heaviside expansion of the TDS meromorphic transfer functions. Using the method, the dominant group of poles (from the infinite set of poles) can be defined. Definition of the dominant poles of TDS can be utilized in the analysis of the system dynamics and also in the control design (e.g.pole placement method).
