    True Finite Order Approximation of Time Delay System

  • Original language description

    A method for finite approximation of time delay system (TDS) is presented. The system is approximated by the finite number of the partial fractions resulting from the generalized Heaviside expansion. First, the poles of TDS are computed using the mappimgbased rootfinder.Then, using the original pole significance evaluating criterion, the most significant poles are selected. Finaly, the approximation is designed as the sum of the partial fractions corresponding to these dominant poles.
