In this contribution I would like to present application of the numerical method called FDTD and it's utilization in microwave thermotherapy. I have focused on modeling of the electromagnetic field and SAR distribution in front of the applicators aperture. The comparison of s11 parameter by a FDTD modeling and vector analyzer measurement is shown here.
