Design of the Air Flow Sensor Based on Heating the CMOS Chip

  • Original language description

Paper presents the basic principles and problems which must be considered in the design of the wind sensor. First it is described the basic principle of the wind flow sensor which is based on the heating CMOS chip. Paper presents possibilities of the chip layout and crucial parameters of the CMOS sensing elements. Sensor is intended to be used for wireless applications, so the power consumption of the sensor is one of the most important parameter. Programs CovenorWare, Cadence and 180 nm CMOS technologywere used for simulations.

Návrh senzoru proudění větru na principu vyhřívaném čipu

  • Czech description

Článek popisuje základní principy a problémy, které je třeba uvažovat při návrhu senzoru větru. Nejdříve je popsán samotný princip senzoru, založený na vyhřívání CMOS struktury. Článek představuje možnosti rozmístění ohřívacích a senorových částí a dálenezbytné parametry CMOS snímacích struktur. Programy CovenorWare, Cadence a 180 nm CMOS technologie byly použity pro simulaci.
