Rotary Machine Condition Monitoring Using One-Class Classification in Wireless Sensor Networks
Original language description
In this paper we introduce the system for machine condition monitoring (MCM) based on the Wireless Sensors Network (WSN). In the proposed system the vibrational behaviour of a rotary machine is sensed by the nodes of the network. In the each node samplesare pre-processed and suitable features describing the faulty behaviour of a machine are extracted, then the features input to the classifier. An one-class classifier implemented in the each node creates an intermediate classification result. From theseresults is in the network created by voting and combining procedures the final decision about a machine condition. This approach may bring many benefits compared to classical wired centralized systems, i.e. easier deployment, robustness and gives a goodoverall view of a machine condition.
