Original language description
Functional specimen of a readout chip for strip detectors. It allows measurement of pulse amplitude of a signal coming from semiconductor sensor. It is devised primarily for spectroscopical applications of deposited energy in a silicon diode (LET measurement), identification of radionuclides by their characteristic radiation. It has 32 input channels, capable of charge measurement in the range of 5000 electrons to 1M electron. The amplitude is digitized with a time-over-threshold ADC in each channel.
