Influence of Integrated Periodic Timetable of Passenger Railway Transport on Freight Railway Transport
Original language description
The aim of this paper is to present the concept of network-bound periodic freight train paths in the context of integrated periodic timetable (IPT) of passenger transport. To this purpose, outputs of R & D project CG723-138-190 - Configuration of IPT-nodes in Czech Railway Network are used. The presented solution guarantees regular capacity to freight trains also during day, without significant influence on passenger transport. This paper has been written on behalf of CTU FTS research plan "Developmentof methods of design and operation of transport networks from the point of view of their optimization".
