In the view of fact that usage of modern and existing technologies for skid resistance evaluation is limited to only dry or wet pavement surfaces with certain water film thickness, this article presents a method for evaluation of achievable decelerationof vehicles on other types of surfaces. The sample measurement was carried out using the decelerometric method on vehicles with and without ABS. We measured and compared achieved deceleration
