SHARING ECONOMY AND TRANSPORTATION
Original language description
The sharing economy has been a significant phenomenon over the past ten years. The concept is not new, sharing has always existed. However, this area of economic relations has been recently influenced by the rapid development of information technology, and sharing has gained a whole new dynamics in many areas. The article deals primarily with shared transport and focuses on the preconditions that influence transport behavior of the population, especially in large cities. These preconditions are based on the marketing segmentation according to the age at which people acquire a driving license. It is clear from these surveys that, in particular, younger consumers in the digital age change their relationship to car ownership and more tend to use shared transport.
