Situation Analysis of Roadside Advertising in Czech Republic
Original language description
The article introduces interesting fragments of a part of the project focusing on the possibility of affecting the traffic safety by advertising equipment. The solution included, among other things, the localization and the presence classification of advertising equipment along the backbone network of roads in the Czech Republic, statistical evaluation and analysis of traffic accidents or traffic conflicts monitoring, psychological analysis of impact of the presence of advertising equipment, analysis of the number and length and the driver’s gaze using an eye tracking method. In the framework of the assessment of the direct influence on the driver was realized a test drive focused on distraction tests in real operation using the Wiener Fahrprobe structured observation method and the eye tracking technique.
