    Layers of Metal Nanoparticles on Semicoductors Deposited by Electrophoresis from Solutions with Reverse Micelles

    Pd nanoparticles were prepared with reverse micelles of water/AOT/isooctane solution and deposited onto silicon or InP substrates by electrophoresis. The deposited Pd nanoparticles were investigated by optical microscopy, SIMS and SEM. Finally, Schottkydiodes with barrier height as high as 1.07 eV were prepared by deposition of Pd nanoparticles on n-type InP and by a partial removal of superfluous AOT. These diodes are prospective structures for further testing as hydrogen sensors.

    Vrstvy kovových nanočástic na polovodičích deponovaných elektroforezou z roztoku s reverzními micellemi

  • Czech description

    Nanočástice Pd byly připraveny s reversními micellemi v roztoku voda/AOT/isooktan a elektroforeticky deponovány na podložky křemíku nebo InP. Deponované Pd nanočástice byly zkoumány optickou mikroskopií, SIMS a SEM. Konečně deponováním Pd nanočástic na InP typu n a po částečném odstranění nadbytečného AOT byly připraveny Schottkyho diody s výškou bariéry až 1.07 eV. Tyto diody představují perspektivní struktury pro další testování jako vodíkové senzory
