X-Ray Diffraction Analysis Of Zr Alloys Oxide Layers After Grinding
Original language description
The results of XRD analysis of macroscopic stresses in the grinding oxide layers of Zr1Nb and Zry4 W alloys are presented in this contribution. It can be concluded that the mechanical properties of oxides for alloys under investigation are different. While the Zry4 W oxide is brittle, the Zr1Nb oxide is tough and its plastic deformation can be possible at room temperature.
