Application of Anisotropic Diffusion in MR Tractography
Original language description
In this contribution, a method for visualization of the data obtained by magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging is introduced. The visualization technique is based on anisotropic diffusion of a noisy 3D image controlled by the diffusion tensor fieldand implemented by solving a problem for the Allen-Cahn PDE. After the mathematical model is described, the attention is focused on the parallel implementation of the numerical scheme for solving the given problem. Finally, some results based on real data are presented.
