Original language description
The objective of this work was an evaluation and comparison of organ and effective doses from four verification techniques of Image-guided radiotherapy. These techniques were: megavoltage (MV) Cone beam CT (CBCT) scans, two orthogonal MV images, kilovoltage (kV) CBCT scans and two orthogonal kV images. Doses were evaluated for two treatment sites: pelvis and head and neck. Organ doses were measured in a male anthropomorphic Rando phantom using thermoluminiscent dosimeters (TLDs). Measurements were carried out on Siemens Artiste, Varian Clinac and Elekta Synergy linear accelerators. Radiotherapy departments can use presented dose data to estimate patient dose from their particular verification imaging technique.
