    Influence of Temperature on Spectroscopic and Lasing Properties of Pr:YLF Crystal

  • Original language description

    We report on inuence of temperature on spectroscopic and lasing properties of Pr:YLF crystal. Fluorescence lifetime, polarization-resolved absorption and emission spectra, and laser characteristics in the orange spectral range are described. Using 1-W InGaN pump laser-diode, 350 mW of continuous-wave output power at 604 nm wavelength at 80 K crystal temperature is reported. The corresponding slope efficiency related to absorbed pump power was 46 %.
