The reliability of structures designed according to the alternative combination rules provided in EN 1990 by expressions (6.10), (6.10a) and (6.10b) may considerably vary. The newly proposed combination rule for actions based on a single expression has an important advantage over the combination based on two expressions leading to more uniform reliability of structures.
