In last decades the effort to increase the number of women applying for studies at technical universities, and consequently for a job in the field of technology and engineering, can be seen in European countries. However, the amount of female students and subsequently graduates in technical fields is still quite small. One of the possible ways how to support them both in their study and career development and mentoring. Mentoring is a process of continuous and dynamic feedback between two individuals toestablish a relationship through which one person shares knowledge, skills, information, and perspective to foster the personal and professional growth of the other. It is a different relationship than supervision which is usually pre-established and does not necessarily lead to the personal growth of the individual.
