Original language description
A simple solution of decentralized adaptive continuous-time control based on a modified tuning method is presented in this contribution. The process is identified by the regression (ARX) continuous-time model using the recursive least squares method (RLSM) with applied restricted directional forgetting. The filter derivations of the input and the output are obtained from the derivative filters. The method proposed has been verified by simulation in Matlab and on the CE108 Coupled Drives Apparatus usingthe Real Time toolbox in real time conditions. The simulation results demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed method. Order reduction of a non-linear two-input/two-output (TITO) system is also used in verification on the CE108 Coupled Drives Apparatus. Control of the non-linear system CE108 was performed using the suboptimal LQ tracking method applied on the external linear model (ELM).
