    Simultaneous volume and enthalpy relaxation behavior of a-PMMA was studied stimulated by double-step temperature jump experiment.:There was observed memory effect during both relaxations followed up-jump weakened by increasing of pre-annealing time. There was found constant relation between both measures during expansion of the sample. From the dependence of excess enthalpy versus specific volume an apparent bulk modulus, Ka, was calculated (Kubat, 1998). Its values increase with pre-annealing time andachieve asymptotically a limiting value. It has been found that its values can be used for quantification of the thermodynamic equilibrium.
