    Head Joystick and Interactive Positioning for the Wheelchair

  • Original language description

    The paper introduces the human-robot, respectively human-computer interfaces for the control of the wheelchair for people with various types of disabilities and elderly people. The first control system is based on a set of instructions derived from the body motion and sampled by means of the six component force-torque transducer inserted between the saddle and the chassis of the wheelchair. The second control system is based on a set of instructions derived from the head movement. On the head are fastened five laser diodes radiating light rays with following scanning of the light spots configuration on the floor by means of the CCD camera. Presented here is assignment of geometrical configuration of the light spots position for the control of the wheelchair. The activity of the force-torque transducer is based on axial shiftings and angular displacements caused by the human body motion.

    Článek pojednává o implementaci rozhraní člověk- robot, resp. člověk - počítač pro řízení invalidního vozíku určeného pro tělesnš postižené a pro přestárlé lidi. Prvý řídící systém je založen na souboru instrukcí odvozených podle cílevědomého pohybu tělaa vzorkován pomocí šestisložkového silově-momentového snímače.vloženího mezi sedadlo a konstrukci křesla. Druhý soubor instrukcí je založen na cílevšdomém pohybu lidské hlavy.
