According to past research findings, Business succession of family own business has generated very poor level of success and it has happen due to number of factors such as poor level of competence of the successor, Poor support given by the family, poorlevel of commitment of incumbent, poor relationship among incumbent, family and successor and etc. In reality, without participation of successor, there is no succession can be actualized. In other wards ?When successor is not there, there is no succession can be happen?. It is not mean; individual is enough for the succession. The successor?s competence directly affected to the success of the whole process, because he is in the top to manage the whole business after taking the baton to his hand. Underthis background, identifying successor?s level of competence is very substantial for the future prosperity.
