Mutual interaction between cluster and region - key studies from southern-east part of Poland

Original language description

The article attempts to present the interaction between the region and the cluster on the example of selected entities from southern-east Poland i.e. Lubelskie Voivodship and the Organic Food Valley, Małopolskie Voivodship and the Tarnow Industrial Cluster and Podkarpackie Voivodship and the Aviation Valley. In addition to the characteristics of each region, detailed targets of appropriate Regional Innovation Strategies were also depicted and their compatibility with respect to the presented clusters was highlighted. The article presents the relationship between the cluster and regional authorities and portrays the benefits and difficulties associated with the interaction between the cluster and the region.
