Original language description
This research aims to investigate the concept of destination branding and its impact on competitiveness, as well as to evaluate whether the respective strategy followed by CzechTourism works in practice. The overall results of this pilot research demonstrate that the destination branding in the Czech Republic needs to be improved to broaden the country’s attractiveness and increase awareness of the Czech Republic among potential foreign tourists, in particular through incorporation of word of mouth and the internet as powerful branding tools.
