Original language description
The aim of this paper is to present robust control toolbox for time delay systems in Matlab system. In order to solve the problem of uncertain time delay D-K iteration and algebraic approach are implemented. The algebraic approach treats the problem using pole placement technique and structured singular value as the robust performance and stability indicator. An algorithm of global optimization Differential Migration is employed taking into account the fact that the cost function is multimodal with final tuning of the controller using Nelder-Mead simplex. The algebraic method solves the remaining issues in the robust control design such as the complexity of the final controller and the necessity of its approximation and the problem of asymptotic tracking, which is not as easy to solve using standard tools. For comparison and benchmarking the D-K iteration is present in the toolbox as a standard tool for robust control design.
