Identification and analysis of 2,4- and 2,6-toluenediisocyanate (TDI) adducts at the N-terminal valine of globin
Original language description
Diisocyanates, reactive compounds used in the production of polyurethanes and potent occupational allergens, readily bind to nucleophilic groups of proteins. The stable adducts formed by the reaction of xenobiotics with blood proteins are increasingly used as exposure indicators. To extend the biomonitoring scope of 2,4- and 2,6-toluenediisocyanate (2,4- and 2,6-TDI), we investigated their adducts at the N-terminal valine of globin.
