Original language description
Based on a thorough literature review, the authors aim to explore shopping paths in immersive connected virtual worlds. In this research, previous findings have been cumulated to show that motion and behavioral tracking tools, spatial computing technologies, and geolocation data are key to digital consumer engagement in virtual retail environments, and we contribute to the literature by arguing that customer personalization tools convey multi-sensory customer experiences and spending patterns in virtual retail stores and immersive virtual stores.
