The Impact of Demographic Factors on the Traffic Accident Rate in the Czech Republic
Original language description
Demographic factors, such as age and gender, significantly influence the causes of traffic accidents, which is essential for providing effective road prevention and safety. The work aims to assess the dependency of the demographic factor of age on the causes of traffic accidents and the dependency of gender on the causes of traffic accidents in the Czech Republic from 2011 to 2023, which may be crucial for creating measures. Pearson’s and Spearman’s correlation methods, based on the results from the Shapiro-Wilk test, were used for the analysis.
