Anotace anglicky

The applied research project is focused on the determination of Heritage protection, diagnostic and technological procedures for the reconstruction of historic masonry bridges in accordance with the requirements of monument care. Masonry bridges (made of stone and brick masonry) are an architectural and technical heritage that needs to be protected and restored in accordance with the requirements of monument care while respecting the necessary technical parameters. Many of these bridges, which include important cultural monuments, are in a state of disrepair. The objectives of the project are fully in line with the NAKI III themes aimed at the protection, conservation, restoration and prevention of the national cultural heritage for its preservation and for the improvement of the system of care for monuments. Main goals of the project: Monument conservation procedure for the reconstruction of historic masonry bridges in accordance with the requirements of monument care. Sub-objectives: Diagnostic, technological, monitoring and restoration procedures and documentation of selected masonry bridge structures. The aim of the presented applied research project are monumental procedures for the reconstruction of historic masonry bridges, which consist in combining the application of modern technologies and materials (high-strength cement composites to minimize added reinforcing structures) with diagnostic, monitoring and restoration procedures of masonry structures. Partial goals of the project include documentation and focus of selected historic masonry bridges with the determination of the principles of their reconstruction. Emphasis will be placed on buildings of high cultural value, cultural monuments and architecturally significant examples of bridge construction. Monument procedures will be used by architects and designers in the design of reconstructions of masonry bridge structures and Heritage protection workers.
