Anotace anglicky

"The goal of C4e is to reach a state in which it will be able to react to its partners' demand for specific security solutions in a complex and synergic way, systematically using concepts based on the complex results of its own multidisciplinary research. The individual objectives of the project will be: Objective 1: Increasing Research Performance The goal of the project is to stabilize and reinforce the centre's unique position, broaden the scope of research and international cooperation. Thus a centre of excellence will be created capable of covering the important agenda of cyberspace security both horizontally in the fields of cybersecurity, protection of critical infrastructures, cybercrime and cyber defence, and vertically at the legal, organizational and technical levels. The centre will also achieve a unique position at the international level. Objective 2: Improving the infrastructure in order to support research In order to support objective 1, several useful and highly effective investments will be implemented. These will include e.g. reconstruction and renovation of the MU premises at Botanická 68a, to allow installation of technological equipment and devices (i.e. building a safe data hall/centre), renovation of the related facilities and offices of the research team. In the area of investments into instrumentation, the equipment necessary for the research programmes will be purchased. Objective 3: Expanding and Strengthening Research Teams One of the project's objectives is to stabilize and expand the centre's research team, thus providing space both for the further development of the existing research activities and for broadening the research agenda by inviting new excellent researchers and promising young scientists to join the team.
