Applicability of Comprehensive Genomic Testing - towards better diagnostics

Anotace anglicky

The aim of the project is: - To establish and implement cooperation between research organizations and the application sphere. Establishment, implementation and deepening of cooperation between research organizations and the application sphere, project partnerships between research organizations and application sphere entities will be implemented; cooperation with other application sphere partners will be established and documented through Memoranda of Understanding; a Business Development Team will be established and round tables and workshops will be implemented. - Implementation of planned research projects in collaboration with application stakeholders. Implementation of oriented research in collaboration with application stakeholders, methods for analysis of the complete human genome will be compared and the benefits of each method for different patient groups (cancer patients, patients with congenital genetic diseases) will be evaluated; ethical empirical research on communication strategy for sharing and secondary use of genomic data will be conducted. - Involvement of application experts in teaching. Involvement of application experts in teaching, including supervision of student theses, will be strengthened by involving application experts in the education of students, through supervision and consultation of bachelor, master and dissertation theses, as well as through lectures and workshops targeted (not only) at master students. - Acquisition of instrumentation and infrastructure necessary for the implementation of research projects will be implemented.
