The project is aimed at obtaining new knowledge needed for the development of the technology of a new universal modular crusher through the implementation of industrial research and experimental development. The result of the project will be two functional samples: Modular crushing device and Universal modular crusher. The goal of the project is to develop and test a design solution for a crusher that will have the following competitive advantages over existing crushers: • It will be somewhat of a universal shredder The innovativeness of our shredder will lie in the design solution of the shredder, which will be able to shred almost all wooden waste material, such as stumps and tree trunks, pallets, old furniture, waste from logging. After replacing the crushing elements, thanks to the modularity, we can also crush sorted bio-waste. • The lifespan of the crusher is extended The effort will be to develop a crusher with which we will achieve an extension of the service life, especially in the area of ​​the most mechanical stress, which is the crushing mechanism. The tool to achieve this goal will be the selection of suitable high-strength materials that we will use for the production of the crushing device. • It will be a modular design solution The essence of this innovation is a new construction solution of the crusher, which will allow quick and easy replacement of the crushing device from the frame of the crusher. The new solution will allow the exchange of different crushing devices, while maintaining the frame of the crusher.
