Anotace anglicky

The subject of the project is the research and development of medical devices based on hyaluronic acid and its derivatives, intended for the treatment and prevention of pathological conditions in dentistry. Within the project, three functional prototypes of medical devices with antibacterial effects will be developed. The project introduces a completely innovative solution, as there are currently no commercially available products designed specifically for the treatment of these pathologies. The applicant is a small company with medium market capitalization, Contipro a.s. The objective of the project is to develop innovative medical devices based on hyaluronic acid for dental applications, specifically for the treatment and prevention of maxillary sinusitis and osteonecrosis of the jawbone. These devices will provide dentists and other specialists with an entirely new treatment option for these pathologies, offering high added value for patients. The proposed project is thus fully aligned with the DEEP TECH field of “Advanced Materials”, specifically within the subarea of “Biomaterials”, and is directly focused on research and development in this specific area. The implementation of the project will lead to an increase in the company’s innovation capacity and competitiveness, as well as to higher turnover and profit from the sales of medical devices, positively contributing to the expansion of Contipro’s distribution network within this market segment.
