Anotace anglicky

The aim of the project is in its 3rd year the development of a prototype of an analyser of mode The aim of the project is in its 3rd year the development of a prototype of an analyzer of modal structure in optical components and subsequent filing and receive of a functional sample in the 4th year of the project- then in the 3rd year of the project an output in the form of an authorized software for evaluating the modal structure. In following years after the end of the project analyzers of modal structure in optical components will be manufactured in the frame of achieved parameters and possible market application. Also the developed software will be commercialized. Last but not least based on the project, measurement of the modal structure will be offered in a certified laboratory located in PROFiber Netrowking CZ s.r.o. (onwards denoted as PROFiber). In the frame of the project development of the analyzer of modal structure in optical components will be carried out including electronics and software. In the first year in PROFiber a preparation of the test link will be done. The Faculty of Electronics CTU in Prague (onwards denoted as CTU) will focus on the proposal of the detection part, ordering necessary components and software development. In the second year PROFiber will carry out an optimization of the test links and will add emulation of link and component distortions. In cooperation of PROFiber and CTU a joint testing of the whole system will be realized. In the third year the close cooperation of both subjects will continue with focus on optimization a development of a prototype, in parallel a preparation will begin for enhancement of the analyzer to enable measurement of more optical fiber types. In the last year a final version of the analyzer of modal structure in optical components with enhanced measurement possibility for all multimode optical fibers and for sensor applications will be presented with regard to possible market opportunities.
