Acoustic diagnostics of building constructions and materials

Anotace anglicky

The aim of the project is research and development of measuring method for assessing of building constructions and materials. Measuring method will be focused on precise localization of acoustic defects which affects soundproof parameters. Unlike existing measuring methods, the new method will be much more precise and much faster. The new method will be applicable to indoor measurements in buildings, production halls and other areas with the dominant sound reflection, where existing conventional methods failures and measurement results are not relevant. The new method can be also used for localization of sound sources in other areas of activities – reduction of traffic noise, noise emitted from large industrial enterprises and machinery in production halls. Equivalent measuring method applicable in areas with the dominant sound reflection is not yet available in Czech Republic. Aims of project can be determined by the following points: Research and development of new measuring method for localization of acoustic defects which affects soundproof parameters with emphasis on high speed measurement and high accuracy of acoustics defects localization. Verification of newly developed measuring method for localization of sound sources in other areas of activities – for localization of sound sources from traffic, localization of sound sources from large industrial enterprises at large distances and localization of sound sources from machinery in production halls. Getting competitive edge for EKOLA group in services about evaluation of acoustic quality in building structures and also getting advantages in other areas of treatments for reducing noise. Obtained results of the project are multidisciplinary and usable in different branches of acoustics (acoustic defects localization in building structures, traffic noise reduction, noise reduction of large industrial enterprises, and reduction of noise in working and non-working environment, reduction of noise in building).
