New composite materials for restoration of buildings of 20th century architecture

Anotace anglicky

Aim of the project is a design of a new complementary material for restoration of plasters, concrete/stone bases of buildings of 20th century architecture, which should be an alternative to currently used materials based on cements. It is a research and development in the field of advanced materials (KETs), which leads to a development of new cost-saving materials and new products with higher added value. Another aim is widening of a current assortment of the company České lupkové závody a.s. with a new product, for which production alternative raw materials will be used instead of their current deposition. At the same time decreasing of material demands for the production is expected, which is one of the supported objectives of NPOV. A crucial aim is also support of using less demanding sources and decreasing of CO2 emissions, which will be fulfilled by means of substitution of cement materials, which production emits greenhouse gases. This aim fulfills one of the program priorities. Another aim is a creation of procedures for compatibility evaluation of the complementary material for the chosen basis and application methods for potential users. At the same time evaluation of the new material in real applications and weather conditions of the Central Europe including efflorescence elimination and decreasing of water-soluble salt effect on the restored basis will be carried out. Emphasis will be put on promotion of the new material among project output users. The aim is also effectiveness of research activities among solvers by means of linking know-how and infrastructure of individual workplaces and cooperation broadening between commercial and research sphere. Outputs of this collaboration will help to competitiveness increasing of the entities taking part in this project. Standard procedures for restoration of buldings of 20th century architecture will be innovated to preserve them for next generations, which is one of priorities of the National RIS3 strategy.

Zhodnocení výsledků projektu

Projekt dosáhl stanovených cílů a výstupů projektu. Výsledkem řešení je anorganické geopolymerní pojivo pro doplňování kamenného podkladu, anorganické geopolymerní pojivo pro doplňování betonového podkladu pro interiérové použití, doplňovací materiál pro kamenný podklad, doplňovací materiál pro betonový podklad a dále anorganické pojivo maltových směsí pro doplňování vápno-cementových malt a omítek, anorganické pojivo maltových směsí pro doplňování betonových podkladů, doplňovací materiál pro tvrdé omítky.
