Anotace anglicky
The Ethnographic Atlas of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia will describe and analyze the territorial differentiation of traditional folk culture, define cultural areas and reveal the relationship between the individual components of traditional folk culture and its link to the natural environment. The project will primarily use an ethnocartographic method that makes it possible to specify the space and time contexts of researched phenomena. The research will focus on the expressions of popular piety related to the material and spiritual aspects of religious peregrination and narrative imagination. The 2 upcoming volumes of the atlas will follow up on the previous volumes (so far 7 volumes have been published) as well as on the atlases of our neighboring countries and will be coordinated in view of the concept of the International European Ethnocartographic Working Group, today Space-lore and Place-lore Working Group of SIEF. Approx 30 maps in A3 format will reflect the researched phenomena, emphasizing their state in the 18–20th century. A workshop mapping piety will be organised.
