Anotace anglicky
The main scope of the project is to analyse the transformations of the literary and stage character of the “braggart soldier” in the French, Italian and Spanish literatures and theatre in the 16th and 17th centuries. The analysis shall establish the valid definition of the archetype and then explain the choices and functioning of its particular ethnic or regional origin connected to the ethnic stereotypes valid in the epoch.
