Anotace anglicky

The proposed project builds on the transformations of research in migration studies as well as geography and sociology of religion in recent decades. It focuses primarily on the role of religion in the integration of immigrants, especially from Ukraine, and aims to benefit from a comprehensive view of the whole issue. The main aim of the project is to deepen the theoretical and methodological understanding of the phenomenon of the role of religion in the integration processes of migrants in the target country and to analyse and synthesize this phenomenon on the example of Czechia. The influences and impacts of religion in the everyday life of immigrants will be analysed in a spatial context. The changes or preservation of the religious identity of immigrants associated with their integration into Czech society will be mapped. The project is theoretically and methodologically anchored mainly in migration studies, geography and sociology of religion and religious studies. The interdisciplinarity of the project allows for a comprehensive approach and a wide range of research methods.
