Social Rights of Temporary Protected Persons from Ukraine in the EU Countries: the Evolution and Key Challenges of Further Development
Anotace anglicky
Project focus on the new era of the temporary protection at EU level in relation to Russian military aggression against Ukraine that has caused the largest internal and external influx of displaced persons since WWII. The project deals withsocial rights of TPPs as the most important group of rights for the majority of displaced persons, the scope and ability of fulfilment of States’ obligations in this sphere, the further development and transformation of TP in EU after its termination. The key focus will be concentrated on right to housing or adequate shelter, medical care, social assistance and social benefits, education, labour rights etc. Special attention will be paid to the comparative research of national legislation and approaches to TPPs’ social protection in different EU countries, in particular those that have granted the TP to the biggest numbers of TPPs such as Czechia, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria as well as the changes of the social protection that states have already began to provide and elaboration of new solutions for the period after 2025.
