High Metabolic Load Distance Decoding: Structure, Determinants and Relevance for Performance in Elite Football

Anotace anglicky

The analysis of external load has been a research focus over the last two decades. The current research is oriented towards the objectification, quantification, and determination of players’ movement at high metabolic load distance activities (HMLD). This parameter integrates activities with metabolic output > 25.5 W/kg. The project deals with the study of structure, differentiation and determination of HMLD and its relevance to the match running performance (MRP) of male elite players (n = 80) from the first division. The research will investigate association among predictors of MRP (laboratory, field testing), investigation of HMLD structure, differences base on field position of players and correlation between HMLD in season microcycle and official match in highest division and UEFA competition. This research will provide novelty information from the field of discovering the structure of MRP in elite football, differences in terms of the optimizing training load (load management) knowledge from HMLD determination (predictors) in football training (optimizing perfromance).
