The History of the Czech Trinitology and Fundamental Theology 1800-2008

Anotace anglicky

The Czech theology was much damaged in the period of the communist totality. Therefore it is very important to draw attention to its history. The approaches to this task can be various. In our case the history of two theological disciplines from the point of view of their intellectual development and meaning for our epoch is concerned. We want to map over the production of Czech authors (also in foreign languages) in the period 1800-2008, say in the region of Trinitarian theology and fundamental theology. The output should be two monographs dedicated to the history of both mentioned disciplines. It is important to point out that this project ties together with the previous project Trinitology and theological anthropology 401/05/2720. The proposed project represents in the same time a preparation for a creation of a new model of Trinitarian fundamental theology which should be the theme of a following project. As we want to work on such a project in the Czech milieu, it is necessary to undertake respective research in the region of history of Czech theology in the period 1800-2008. The successfully realized project 401/05/2720 creates prerequisites for the incorporation of the whole our following intellectual performance into a broader context of actual theological reflection in respective specializations.
