Validation of the Czech version of the Motivational Structure Questionnaire and its application for the studying of motivation drug and alcohol addiction

Anotace anglicky

The adaptation of necessary questionnaires : the normative studies will be carried out in co-operation with Professor E. Klinger at the University of Minnesota and with Morris, the author of the MSQ questionnaire. The cross - cultural studies will be carried out in co-operation with W.M.Cox. Specific information important to the Czech adaptation of the ensuing program of treatment will be borne out by the conclusion of the cross cultural studies. The establishment of specified, Czech diagnostic measureswhere the MSQ and other methods from abroad will be supplemented by the selected diagnostical approaches routinely used in the Czech Republic. The goal will be the maximum sensitivity with respect to cross cultural differences and the most accurate establishment of the motivational structures, of emotive balancing and of explanatory models which are connected with the overuse of addictive substances.
