The German Opera in Oomouc

Anotace anglicky

The basis of the project being presented is an analysis of the history of the institution of the German opera in the city of Olomouc. The following aspects are going to be monitored: social status of the musicians biographies of the most important personalities; migration of the musicians; bond of the Olomouc operas with other opera centers of the monarchy; repertoire of the German opera in Olomouc (searching for possible efforts to establish a kind of dramaturgy in connection with some of the leading personalities of the opera in Olomouc), comparison of the repertoire with other repertoires of analogous opera scenes in the Czech lands, pertinently with the main centers of the Austro-Habsburg Monarchy; German opera in Olomouc in the light of the contemporary criticism; describing the economic changes of the institution operation; state of the German opera institution in the burgess society of the 19th century with regards to the specifics of Olomouc as a domicile of the Archbishop.
