Anotace anglicky
The project focuses on examining the logical and epistemological aspects of the notion of history of nature within the framework of the emergence of geometric natural science and mechanistic philosophy. The research stems from the Renaissance tradition of historia naturalis, particularly its focus on the origin of natural entities. Its central point is then the analysis of the diachrony of nature on the basis of the relationship between the principles of continuity and stratigraphy and the subsequent analysis of the principle of stratigraphy as a geometric ideal. The resulting notion of "concrete time" serves as a tool for analyzing the convergence or intersection of human history and history of nature.
